In the 100 years of its company history Hansgrohe (www.hansgrohe.com) with its headquarters in Schiltach/Schwarzwald has built up a reputation within in the bathroom fittings industry as one of the leaders in technology and design innovation. With its faucets, sprinkler and shower systems Hansgrohe AG creates the original items which make the bathroom more functional, more comfortable and more beautiful. There is a reason why they are to be found in such prestigious projects as the giant cruise ship “Queen Mary 11” and at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5 in London, in the currently highest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and in the Federal Chancellery in Berlin, in the Yoo luxury apartments in New York or in the university at Masdar City in Abu Dhabi. In 2009 Hansgrohe achieved a turnover of approx.  € 610 million with its Axor, Hansgrohe, Phare and Pontos series (2008 € 668 million). Worldwide Hansgrohe employs approx. 3100 of whom two-thirds are in Germany and, while taking severe action against imitations and plagiarism, produces in six plants in Germany as well as in France, the Netherlands, the USA and China.

Dornbracht is an internationally operating company engaged in the manufacture of high quality designer fittings for bathroom and kitchen. This company regularly wins designer awards for the design of its products and, over and above this, has made a name for itself since 1996 through sustainable cultural involvement. The publication “Dornbracht – The Spirit of Water”, available in a bathroom and kitchen edition since 2006, documents the way in which Dornbracht sees itself as a company with culutral relevance and draws attention to the entire scope of the Dornbracht brand. On the one hand a magazine, on the other hand a catalogue, this publication creates a link between inspiration, dialogue and innovation which underlines how Dornbracht thinks and works.
